Nashville’s Newest Rooftop Beer Garden
On April 5, we headed to Nashville for the VIP opening of CT10, City Tap House’s new rooftop beer garden in the SoBro neighborhood. Local event planners, media, influencers and foodies attended despite the semi-chilled weather, which the venue quickly addressed with multiple fire pits throughout the outdoor area. Features worth noting include, but are not limited to:
- Skyline views of downtown, Nissan Stadium and a nightly sunset
- Indoor and outdoor event space (the bar opens up to both sides)
- Lounge furniture and Adirondack chairs
- Gas fire pits (Yes, they are worth mentioning again.)
- Ample parking in the building’s garage with easy access from 3rd Ave. South
The Food
Chef Ashley Grim prepared a variety of food stations peppered throughout the indoor space of the venue showcasing new menu items like BLT sliders, 10-spice tuna sashimi, charcuterie boards, and beef tar tar with toasted baguette slices. Organizers foster conversation among guests providing games like Jenga on the long tables, which can seat 12 each, and arranging the lounge furniture around the fire pits in groups of five or six each.
The Drinks
The bar served specialty cocktails unique to CT10 including the You’re Blushing with rosé vodka, aperol, watermelon sparkling wine and seasonal berries and Treaty of Paris made with sparkling wine, St. Germain and honeydew elixir. Location Nashville beers are also served on draft as is signature for the restaurant downstairs.
The Space
The 2,400-square-foot space can be booked for private events for as many as 200 across the entire rooftop or 75 inside.
